S.H.M. Marine International Inc. is a leading West Coast marine engineering and naval architecture firm located in Victoria, B.C. Founded in 1980, S.H.M. Marine has carried out marine design projects for numerous private and public sector clients, both nationally and internationally. These projects have required diversified experience in various aspects of naval architecture, ship construction, onsite supervision, marine engineering, industrial engineering, electrical systems, and ship operations.

Marine's particular expertise lies in vehicle and passenger ferries, our staff includes experienced marine engineers and naval architects familiar with a wide range of vessels, fabrication techniques, marine construction practices, and regulatory requirements. We are capable of undertaking all types of marine-related projects, from feasibility and conceptual development to contract design, construction superintendence, owner representation, and inspection services.
